The Founder of The Breathing Clinic, Tina Taylor, is a university-qualified Asthma & Respiratory Educator and Breathing Therapist, who is passionate about informing and educating members of the community about the effects of unbalanced breathing patterns and what they can do to restore better breathing to reduce breathing-related symptoms and improve their quality of life. 

Tina combines specialised post-graduate university studies in respiratory science with extensive training in various breathing retraining modalities and related fields. Tina is a certified Buteyko Breathing Practitioner and Fellow of Buteyko Professionals International (FBPI), and certified Breathing Analyst using capnometry and heart rate variability analysis. Tina has completed pulmonary rehabilitation training through the Lung Foundation Australia and related studies in respiratory hygiene and respiratory muscle training. Tina is a current member of the Thoracic Society of Australia & New Zealand (TSANZ).

Tina has undertaken training in the related fields of orofacial myology, gut health and the gut microbiome, as well as counselling studies through the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors, having also worked as a volunteer counsellor.  Tina is a certified Yoga Teacher and experienced Yoga pranayama practitioner. 

With a commitment to evidence-based research, Tina works in alignment with other health care professionals including GPs, dentists, speech pathologists, psychologists, nutritionists, osteopaths, myofunctional therapists, physiotherapists and other manual therapists to support an integrated outcome for clients.
